Hi. I am currently wait listed for two of my three classes. What would happen if I am not off the waiting list before classes begin? Would I still be able to take those classes?

There is still the possibility to get into a class during the first week or two when people are still moving their schedules around. Definitely go to the first few classes whenever you’re on the waitlist. Usually the professor will talk about the chances of getting into the course or will tell you his/her policy on giving out PTE (permission to enroll) numbers.

That said, you need to have a plan in case you don’t get in to either class. You better find two open classes that you’re willing to take and sign up for those right now. (if you get into the two that you want, you can just drop them) But you definitely don’t want to fall below full time (for financial aid, and housing as well IIRC)

Which classes are you still on the waitlist for?

Thank you, Icarus. I really do appreciate your help. I believe this is the second time taht you’ve assisted me. (The first time you provided me with information on the distince thread)

The thing is, the College of Letters and Science, in which I am enrolled, only allows a maximum of 19 units. I am uncertain as to how I would be able to apply for two other classes as a precaution.
