So, I'm taking AP European History online and the computer-based learning thing is not for me. I completely regret taking the class. It is an annoying amount and type of work that I cannot focus on.. I'll need to do more than kick it in the butt to pass. I have about 85% of the semester to complete by June 5thish. If I call NYU and explain, will they understand or not? I'm terrified. I know, I am trying much harder to do it now, but I'm just wanting to get a feel for what could happen if I can't pull through. I have a feeling it may get worse after the AP exam when I have nothing to motivate myself... Also, the teacher is very unhelpful, especially because it is distance learning. I'm desperate. Please help. Thanks.

I tried to drop it, but they wouldn't let me at semester.. Please help!

I did most of high school in online classes. It just takes discipline, and you have to be able to teach yourself. Five hours a day will get you places.

I studied for APs without any classes. I registered in March, studied in 2 months n took AP Calculus n Psychology in May last year. I self studied, no classes. Not even online. I got 5 in Calc AB n 4 for the other. So I think u can do it! Do self study n dont depend a lot on ur online course if it doesnt cater 2 ur study needs. Besides, history needs a lot self study I think!
