Before you can become a student at Stanford, you must complete certain health-related forms. The deadline was June 30th. I accidentally misread it as July 30th so I still have not turned them in. It is well past the deadline now (almost a month!). Will Stanford still let me turn them in late? I went to the Vaden website and the forms are still there...

I can't anyone this has happened to off the top of my head, but I'd bet it happens to plenty of kids every year.

Turn in the forms before the year starts and I bet you won't even hear anything from them.

Apparently you aren't that perfect. ;)

Seriously, though, just send them in if the site still allows you. It should be fine.

I emailed a while back them and they said it was fine to turn them in as soon as possible. Too bad I still have to get a blood test.

One of the biggest problems may be that you'll get charged for health insurance on your bills. If you are planning on taking the health insurance, that's OK...but...if not...they charge a fee for taking it off the bill...and you have to request it be taken off every quarter.

If you don't want the health insurance, be sure to check your statement.

My D just turned in her medical forms this week, and yes, we have been billed for the insurance, which we now need to fix!

What if though you submitted it on time but the health insurance bill still comes up? I'm pretty sure I said I have my own on the original form.

^^ go on Axess and waive it (again)--it's in the lower left corner. To be sure, you might email them as well.

Thanks kyledavid80, I'll pass that on to D..... she should have some time now that her friends all are leaving for college!

Thanks for the tip!
