I'm an out of state student from the east coast and I had delayed my orientation to the August 29th. But my flight has been cancelled twice (because of the hurricane) and now I doubt I can get there tomorrow. Is it possible to talk to your adviser on phone and get your classes scheduled? I know I'm pretty late already and I only have a week before the school starts so I'm pretty stressed out now.

Achilles…I’d call OFYP first thing tomorrow morning and let them know your situation. They’re the ones that might be able to make alternate arrangements for you.

Achilles, definitely call first thing Monday morning. You might also search for his/her name on U of M website and send an email.

Something else that might be helpful to the advisor is for you to fill out a Graduation Planner on Onestop. Then she could easily see what courses you are interested in.

I am sitting here looking at the worlds most organized pile of dorm stuff! I really ought to take a pix of it! His check in time is 2 pm on Wednesday (Middlebrook) Good luck to all!
