I'm curious, 700 or 710?

yes, around that
because i got 690 for a 65 mc and 11 essay

thanks, but does anyone know the exact number? I got a 69 and a 9, so I'm just curious how much a 10 would affect my grade.

My daughter got a 70 and a 10, and she scored a 700 -- so a 69 and 10 is going to be anywhere from what you have now (you didn't say what your score was) up to a 700.

65 mc and 11 essay: 680 (arghhhh..)

how come your score is lower than mine then?
we have the same the subscores

that's what i want to know...

68 MC

10 Essay

690

are you sure that you have 65 for mc and 11 for essay?

....although, we might have tested on different forms ( i had a math experimental @ section 3 )

i got a 66 mc and 11 essay and got a 700

Okay guys--you all are forgetting that there are THREE DISTINCT versions of the May SAT. This has already been established long ago on this forum. As a consequence, there are THREE DISTINCT curves. I, for instance, had a 70 MC and a 10 essay and got a 710 Writing score. There was little to no curve on my version (verbal experimental), it seems, and on your version as well, while on altf's there was a steep curve. Simple as that.

yes, that got to be the reason, i forgot about that.

nice job on the math section, i thought i had a chance to get 800 as well, but nay, I made some stupid mistakes, instead i got 730. i just cant be more ****ed

my math section was much easier than yours
in the end, i think CB's equating works out well enough (although i still detest CB)

my daughter's (70 & 10, 700) test version was writing experimental

OK a little more specifically, I had the math experimental. I'm not sure if it is worth rescoring or not. I ended up getting a 690. I need a 710 for my goal of 2100. I'm not sure if a 10 essay would get me a 710, but I'm sure an 11 would if I got lucky enough to have it raised that high.
