What is an OK grade drop going into second semester of senior year, after being accepted EA?

I have a 3.96 GPA, the only grade other than an A that I’ve gotten is a B in pre-calc. Two of my grades this quarter (AP Lit, AP Calc AB) are borderline As; both sitting at 89% right now, but I’m sure they will both be Bs for the quarter. If I get Bs in both classes this quarter, my semester grade could be an A if I work really, really hard and get an A on both semester finals. Or, if I don’t work as hard, my semester grades would be Bs if I get Bs on the finals. So, will two Bs (and 3 As) on my mid-year report raise a flag? My semester grades are the only things on my transcript. Especially after I’ve been admitted will it be an issue? I feel like it may be a flag just because I’ve really only gotten As in the past. Can they revoke admission?

Do I just need to put in the work to raise the quarter and/or semester grades to As? I’m utterly swamped right now and don’t really want to work for the A… Especially because it’s senior and all that… Senioritis is real.

All B’s are fine let alone 2 B’s.

Try not to get below a C and you should be safe.

All Bs are fine. Avoid Cs.

All B’s are a bit questionable. As a mostly A student otherwise, getting a few B’s than usual (2 or 3 maximum, assuming you have 6 classes this semester) should not be a problem. However, any sort of C grade or below will require explanation.

Funny how many students who have thought of nothing else (especially not the topics discussed in their classes) for years and years all of a sudden relax enough to get a B!

Try to get a mix of B’s and A’s, and avoid C’s as best you can, also, don’t fail. If you get straight B’s, you may get slapped with a warning letter, but you won’t get rescinded.

Thanks everyone. All my other grades are As so I’m in the clear.
