<p>It gives you college credit at over 2,500 schools. My son felt the CLEP Spanish test was much easier than the AP Spanish test. Check to see if the colleges you are considering accept CLEP tests. You can take the test anywhere and request scores be sent to the school you eventually decide to attend.</p>

<p>Yes, you can take them anytime. You don't have to name any schools for the score reports until you decide where you are applying. Then, you can request a CLEP transcript, which shows all your CLEP scores. I can't figure out why more people don't know about these tests. I think high schools put more emphasis on AP tests and are afraid that students will pass on AP tests and take CLEP instead.</p>
