I am applying for housing but I noticed that it gives me the option to decide if I want to stay at a 9-month or a 11.5-month upper division apartment. Is the 11.5 month option planned for those that want to stay for summer school in the future?

@flores90 - I believe SDSU has two 11.5 month communities for upper div/sophomore/transfer students (Granada and Piedra del Sol). The lease is for students who want/need to live on-campus from late August to mid-August the following year. In addition to summer school, I know of students who live there due to on-campus research opportunities/jobs, too.
