What is the max Fridge size allowed?

Hey, im confused about what size fridge uci allow in the dorms.

On their housing site, the page of "What to bring" says:
"Refrigerators in individual rooms are permitted if they are UL-approved and not larger than 4.3 cubic feet."
<a href="http://www.housing.uci.edu/whattobring.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.housing.uci.edu/whattobring.asp</a> it is in the bottom of the page in the orange box.

BUT, on the same housing site, the page of FAQ says:
"Small refrigerators (4.0 cubic feet or less)..."
<a href="http://www.housing.uci.edu/prospective/faq.asp%5B/url%5D">http://www.housing.uci.edu/prospective/faq.asp</a> it is under the link "What appliances are permitted in student rooms?"

So which is it 4.0 cu. ft. or 4.3 cu. ft. ?

i already have a 4.3 cu. ft. fridge... i dont want to buy another one just because its 0.3 cubic feet too big. and theres no way in hell im renting the microfridge for 200 dollars when i got my fridge for 98 bucks!

Like someone said in the other fridge thread, they really don't enforce the rule. I read at Anteaterforum.com that worst comes to worst, they'll charge you a little fee for going over the size limit.

by the way, where'd you get your fridge for $98? I'm looking for one that's under $100

hm thats a good question.. i didn't notice that when i looked on the site.. im guessing maybe its a typo? but where did you a 4.3 cu ft fridge for 98 bucks?? lol

I would check out craigslist =).
