What is the Quantitive Test like at First Days?

<p>What does the Quantitative Test consist of during First Days? It's not difficult, is it? What kind of material is on it? </p>

<p>There’s an older thread that has addressed this question. I don’t remember precisely the details of the thread, but the quantitative test sounded pretty easy. I don’t think we’re allowed to use calculators, so it can’t be too complex.</p>

<p>I just got and information packet, and inside it said that there is a math placement test online. I haven’t check that out yet…</p>

<p>I just got the email that sends you links to all sorts of information, this test is required and it tests algebra/precalculus skills (neither of which I remember at this point…)</p>

<p>Is there any way to freshen up/review for this?</p>

<p>class of 2012 took it in a room. I doubt you’ll have to study for it, it’s rather simple stuff. Actually I would recommend that you don’t.</p>

<p>I’m kind of considering studying a bit, since I haven’t taken Precalculus since SOPHOMORE year of high school and completely forgot most things since I’m doing LInear Algebra righ tnow…</p>

<p>Yeah I probably do sound like an overachiever but I’d rather not epic fail something as straightforward as this… i literally do not remember anything from precalc.</p>

<p>I never even took PreCal lol! I skipped right ahead to Calculus XD so if you want to freshen up ChandlerBing, I am totally up for it…</p>

<p>Haha that sounds good, I took Precalc sophomore year and I honestly don’t remember anything from it. I’m sure it’ll come back to me fast, but I don’t want to go to this exam and know absolutely nothing.</p>

<p>I agree! Until Calculus I actually like Math. Now I just want it to stop melting my brain XD.</p>

<p>At least now my excuse is “I’m an English major!” haha.</p>
