Ds don’t complain about work, but they are very often busy getting things done. Both are/were in honors and are/were accustomed to budgeting their time. Ds are/were not in business. D1 stated students work hard to get things done so that they can have down time to be social.

DS is a rising junior at Farmer. Like at any respected program you will need to put in the hours to be successful. However, Miami students tend to “work hard, play hard”.

DS is active in his fraternity and goes out almost every weekend. The key is knowing when to dial it down and pass on some party or get together when you have a big test or paper due. The students who know when to say “not tonight” can have an active social life as well as great grades. And don’t kid yourself, in most instances your grades will have a significant impact your future career options.

It totally depends on major(s)/minor(s) combo. Yes, it is very hard for engineering student at every single UG in the USA, Miami is not an exception. The same goes for other majors.
