What is there to do in UCLA or Westwood over the summer?

<p>-hang out around movie premieres (my roommate got johnny depp’s autograph at the public enemies premiere!)
-take day trips to santa monica, hollywood, or downtown LA (LACMA always has cool exhibits, and my roomie enjoyed the La Brea Tar Pits right next door)
-the beach, can’t go wrong with the beach, and the south side of the santa monica pier is pretty fun
-try finding all the gelato/froyo places in westwood. let us know when you’ve accomplished this and how they rank
-go swimming at sunset rec
-wander around campus and take advantage of the fact that it isn’t absolutely swarming with students to find some neat hangout spots. don’t be afraid to get lost, the best places are found when you aren’t looking for them
-one bus gets you to the westside pavilion mall down on westwood blvd. 2 buses gets you to the century city westfield mall. the beverly center is cool also but i’ve never been by bus.</p>
