<p>I am very confused looking at the schedule for this course. When I click on enrollment info for the two lectures, it says that they are both full and there are students on the waitlist even though there are still seats available. I understand that the students are waitlisted because they could not get the discussion that they want. During phase 2, if i can get into a discussion, does this mean that I will get into the lecture as well or will i get waitlisted. This class is stressing me out and the whole waitlisting ordeal is very confusing. Someone, please explain. Will I be able to get into this class during phase 2? Thanks.</p>

<p>1) If you get into the discussion, you will get into the lecture.
2) Even if all the discussions are full, there will still be space available because the maths department usually puts a few discussion sections on standby and opens them up if there is enough demand.</p>
