What is your priority number?

I got number 1321. I think it's a decent number. Likely to get into one of the dorms I chose.

What's your number?

This may be a dumb question but I’m not sure where to find my priority number. I payed my deposit this afternoon and it still says payment is not complete so I’m not sure if I won’t get my number until it says it’s complete?

I don’t think that’s the problem. Login to the MyHousing Portal, click on “check contract status,” and under Additional Information, you will find your priority number :)

Ugh. I got 3276. I signed up on the first day, but at night was when I checked my email, so I got a bad number.

Yeah, I was trying it at school at 9am when it first opened, but the site was soooooo slow. I was lucky that my mom was off from work that day and that she was able to do it, but she said it took her three hours!!!

When I signed up, it only took 10 minutes. Lol. I’m glad I didn’t have to wait so long.

Lol I had three other friends in my class that were trying to sign up in the middle of second period like I was.

Yeah, I had a friend sign up in the middle of 4th hour. But it was a free period that day, so that was good.

Oh okay, I signed up Friday afternoon and my priority number is 3552, I’m hoping for degraff because you don’t have to get a meal plan. I heard Dorman and deviney aren’t too bad?

I heard to avoid Dorman and Deviney, along with the other two communal dorms Kellum and Smith. The person recommended springing the extra $500 for a suite style dorm if we could afford it because they are much nicer and well worth the extra cost.

I also had a friend who stayed at an FSU dorm for a week for Boy’s State, and he said that the dorm he was in was disgusting. He couldn’t remember which dorm it was, but my guess is that it wasn’t one of the ones that I chose because the ones on my list had pretty good reviews.

I know, but that’s for people who can afford it. I really can’t so, Deviney and Dorman will have to do for me, since I have FL prepaid. Whatever. At least it’ll be totally free.

Have you guys definitely decided that you will attend FSU? I haven’t totally decided, but it’s seeming more and more likely.

No. I probably won’t. If I have to stay in FL, I would prefer UF over FSU. Otherwise, I’d go to 1)Rice (if I get accepted), 2)American 3)Fordham 4)UM 5)UF 6)University of Pittsburgh (accepted) 5)FSU 6)FIU (accepted)

I applied to UF, but I’ve felt that UF gives off an arrogant vibe. I applied to a couple of private schools, along with a few other in-state publics, but I liked FSU over USF, and I’m not so sure about UCF…

But I don’t think I would be able to afford the private schools when the public schools are so much more affordable, especially with the prepaid

Mine is 1795 with my top 3 choices as Wildwood, Degraff, and Broward. Not sure if I’ll get my first two, but there might be a chance with Broward.
