What kind of college am I looking to get into?

I'm currently a junior and a soon to be senior so before I begin to worry about what colleges I'm applying to, I want to know what chances I have to good schools.

A little about myself:
Asian Male

Curriculars
4.0 GPA
Just above 10% class rank(11-12%)
On course to graduate with 12 AP's (3's on AP Gov, AP World History, and predicted 5's on AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science, AP Language and Literature, AP Statistics, and a potential 3/4 on AP Physics)
2100 on SAT (Will DEFINETLY retake come October)
SAT II's (Just took them but I'm predicting an 800 on Math II, a 680-720 on USH, and anywhere between a 550-700 on Literature)

Extracurriculars:
Some Science Olympiad (Science Competition Club)
Math Team (Qualified for AMC12 Round 2 - AIME - as well as part of the GA State Math Team)
National Honors Society
Beta Club
Piano (Made All-State so I'm one of the top pianists in Georgia)

Are my chances of making Ivies such as Cornell, Princeton, Harvard essentially zero? If so, then what are some other alternative good schools?
I'm interested in Duke, NYU (I want to be a finance major), Columbia

Your chances aren’t zero (if you get that SAT score up) - but as you know, your chances are very small, as they are for everyone who doesn’t have a hook or some other highly differentiating characteristic. Since your choices seem to be driven primarily by prestige, see if this helps: [Top Undergraduate Business Schools by Specialty - Businessweek](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?)

You also don’t mention ability to pay, so should we assume that you can afford any school?

Harvard, Princeton, Columbia no. Cornell and Duke unlikely unless you can get your rank into top 10% and rise your score 100 plus points. NYU quite possible with a little higher score as long as math is above 730.

You might look at CMU. For NYU and CMU, you will need to be able to afford them.

I’m trying to get a 150+ jump in scores for SAT. If I do so and raise my class rank a little bit, you think I will have a chance at getting into a school like CMU and NYU (and mabye Duke and Cornell)?

Ask your HS counselor .They might have some good suggestions .
