What kind of tattoo would (will) you get?

I want to get a tattoo…

^ ?

I would not be averse to getting a tattoo, but I can’t think of anything I want on me for the rest of my life.

^look at my post on the first page. I just have to study more and see…I guess.

@youwish

Holy crap, my mom is the exact same way with anyone (including myself) write on my hands or arms or whatever. It’s stupid. I’m definitely not allowed to get one as well, though I’m contemplating getting a very small dot somewhere that is inconspicuous.

My parents got me my first one :D

doo itt :]

Also, I do not like what the tattoo would look like when I am 70+ :o

I did not buy a yearbook…so a friend of mine wanted to sign my arm…He used all of my armm…I took a pic of it…but spent 15 minutes afterward scrubbing it off with a female friend of mine in the restroom :open_mouth: My mom saw the pic that afternoon…hahahaha :stuck_out_tongue: her face  priceless

lucky!

I never got the “it’ll look bad when you’re old” argument.

Do many old people look that great to begin with?
Liver spots, hair growing out the ear, hunchback…I’d think a tattoo would be the least of their concern.

Focus on getting the hover round scooter.

^^ Lucky? I suppose so. But my parents have never really gave a **** about what I did to my body, so they figured that I was going to get one with the money that I was getting for my birthday anyway, so they just decided to cut out the middle man.

^^Well…it just adds to that vivid image :stuck_out_tongue: eewz

Yes, lucky that your parents do not care about what you do with * your * body.

I want to get a red vespa tattoo somewhere on my back. :D

This.

I really want a tattoo at the back of my neck, but…(okay, gross reason) I tend to get acne there. So I might wait. I also like the idea of getting one on one of my hip bones. I’d probably go for something stereotypical like a star or a really intricate butterfly.

i dont want a tattoo [not allowed either]

but i would get a tiny butterfly near my ankle if i could…

My Parents will disown me if I get a tattoo haha

^^ Why aren’t you allowed? If it’s for religious reasons, I understand. If it’s for your parents, it’s your body and they don’t ever have to know.

cb- See my above comment.

To anyone over 50, a tattoo screams “I’m a low-class person. Do not hire me, show me any respect, or allow your offspring to date me.” So, you might as well have that tattooed across your forehead.

I plan on getting something about my deceased friend.

The tattoo Megan Fox has (the one on the side of her body, not that hideous Marilyn Monroe one) is gorgeous. Granted, I never read what it actually says. Knowing her, it probably reads something stupid. The actual look of the tattoo is what I like.

Thanks. My grandpa had an army tattoo until his death in his 70s. My uncles are all in their 50s and have tattoos. Some military some not. They’re all fairly successful.

Another uncle on the other side is just south of 50. He has a few tattoos and he is a multi-millionaire, has run numerous theaters in California. Has produced many successful shows, etc.

I have a tattoo. I have 3 jobs. All three of my bosses have tattoos. I’d say they’re all pretty successful if they own their own companies. One of my bosses even helped design my tattoo. Yes, they’re all over 50 (except one who is 48).

So please, take your biases out of here. There are many highly successful people who have tattoos.

Good day sir.

The infinity symbol on the back of my neck. Maybe.
It’s both ironic and pseud-intellectually profound

My collection of tattoo inspiration:
[If I ever get some money, I plan on getting them by the end of this year. But at the moment, I’m broke. And it doesn’t help that the “we’re going to charge overpriced NYC-priced tattoos because we can” salon I go to starts at $80, even if it’s only a 1cm big.]
Then after I shove out $160, not including tip–I find out that the tattoo places where the rest of my family lives–a few states south of New York, only charge $30 for starting price.
My penny-pinching is also why I will never get a sleeve or anything massively huge. I hear they cost thousands.

I honestly wonder whether I’m the only weirdo who collects pictures like this…
I personally think Angelina Jolie, hands down, has the nicest looking tattoos. All black and mostly writing–which is my style.
