I like boys with tattoo <3

(okay so now I’m bumping this thread with nonsense. Sorry :P)

I like boys with tattoo <3

(okay so now I’m bumping this thread with nonsense. Sorry :P)

I don’t really like the song “Tattoo” by Jordin Sparks (sp?)

Platts, they do cost thousands. Plus they take months to do :/. Lol, I dont have that patience.

PS: I agree about the Angelina Jolie tattoos.

^^I’ve never heard a Jordin Sparks song before. Ever.
Or a Lady Gaga one. Or a Justin Beiber one.

How weird is that?

-
^ That’s what I thought. I can’t see paying thousands for a tattoo. Especially when I prefer small ones. And add me to your impatient list, I can’t do the coming back over and over and over to get more done. I want it all done the same day.

romani, i thought nobody in your family graduated high school/college?

or was that just immediate family?

Aw, I like some of these ideas. I think I’d color the little alien vs robot. Also, to the one who was saying they’re black but can’t get colored tattoos, you can, just colors like red, bright yellow w/ white mixed in to make it stand out. My brothers are basically black and have really nice colored tattoos.

I’d also get my kids’ names tattooed. Also, sometimes I consider a parrot with a rose in its beak (to represent my parents, long story) on my back shoulder (also to make pirate jokes).

I’m lucky my brother will do my tattoos for free now that I’m 18, he just needs to find the right colors, he’s considering it a graduation gift. It’s nothing showy, but even then I don’t think tattoos are nearly as controversial as they once were that people would say “what? peace tattooed on you!? no job evah!”. Maybe over 50, old people can be odd, but none of us will really be in the job market for another 10 years, our hirers will probably care less or be baby boomers residues that have crazy tattoos. I know so many older people that are like “yeah…I have one”.

My tattoo will look exactly like this on my arm:

Tattoo

; )

^I like the idea Needles+arm=GAAHH!!

I like the idea of having an inner lip tattoo just because they hurt less and they are inconspicuous (thus I can get away with it). However, they tend to fade a lot from what I hear, so you constantly have to get it re-touched.

If I were to get one (which is unlikely), I’d probably have a lot of Latin phrases or something kind of symbol of the ideas presented in Eastern philosophy (Hinduism/Buddhism), like the lotus or idk. It’s always fun to speculate, however.

Some tattoos are gorgeous works of art and others make me want to cringe in fear. Example: I met a guy (that looks exactly like Newman in Seinfeld) with a tattoo of a naked lady on his forearm. Really disturbing.

I don’t get the naked ladies, girls don’t get naked guys.

Try something behind the ear if you really want inconspicuous and painless, since there’s no bone and if someone sees it they are really invading your personal space. I see a lot of little phrases, musical notes, whispers, all that. My friend has an actual song excerpt on the back of his lobe, some spanish song that he says the tone gets stuck in his head so he had the notes tattooed by his ear.

Also, anyone click on that west point “tattoo policy” under? So many there seem to have tattoos, I swear military guys just keep getting hotter and hotter.

I wouldn’t get a tattoo - nothing interests me enough

* If *I ever decided to get a tattoo, I would get three hearts…edgy ones that connect or normal ones that loop together

The middle would contain marriage date
right: my name
left: spouse’s name
below the hearts: children’s names

What a poor advice: “If it’s for your parents, it’s your body and they don’t ever have to know.”

“Youwish”…you are young, read back your post and the ill-advise you just received.

I hope you learn a lesson here and take it with you the rest of your life—in life there always people that will try to manage you or will try to corrupt your ideas, or what is good in you. These kind of people could sounds “cool” and probably they will advise you to go against the wise and good teachings of your parents; they will try to lead you outside of the boundaries and good teachings from your parents. They will talk to you as they have the real answers and as they are your friends and understand you, but they dont’ want the best for you…, they just answered a post with a dreadful advise.

Your parents even though can look old in your eyes, probably old-fashioned too, they love you and they know what is best for you…not a stranger recommending you to go against your parents recommendations and guidance.

The advice posted above is horrible…don’t feel intimidated with people that second guesses your first instinct or decisions. Stick to your guns, to your first instinct, to your knowledge. If you learned that lesson here, believe me it will help you a lot in your future life.

Remember, there is no one, no one that wants the best for you than your parents. Believe me you are the “lucky” one, because you have parents that care about you!

so this is the first internet-thread-turned-after-school-special I’ve ever witnessed

It’s a tattoo, not heroin, easy misunderstanding.

Thanks, Greenery :b

the conflict is more interior rather than exterior though

^^^ Isn’t that little too extreme? I think you’re pulling romanigypsyeyes’s words out of context a bit. I don’t think her intention was at all to “corrupt” anyone.

Agreed.

hahahha i can’t even get a tattoo because i’m muslim lol …

IMO, either way i think tattoos look kind of tacky. I mean like, after some time they’ll go out of style & you’re going to get bored of it/dislike it/ regret getting it later on and then having it removed will cost you, and i think it would be painful.

Plus, aren’t tattoos bad for your liver?

I see girls at school that have colorful tattoos and all i can say is that it looks really ****ty and ugly…one has a that stereotypical heart with the bow that goes through it (like the ones you used to see in cartoons lmao) and another girl that has a tattoo of a weird looking bird on the back of her shoulder and another one of the word “beautiful” written in greek above her boob…and it’s really big…and i think she has another one on her wrist but i don’t remember what it is hahaha…

i doubt that i’d ever be interested in getting a tattoo but, I think if i had to choose it might be a phrase or word written in arabic…but i don’t find anything there that i’d like to tattoo on my body…lol.

No one in my family. When did I say otherwise?
EDIT: There may be one or two, but my parents and any other influential family members in my life: no.

How is it poor advice? If you are 18+ and you want a tattoo, that is YOUR business, not your parent’s. Sorry, your parents don’t own your body. If you are a minor, that is a completely different story. I guess the whole being an adult thing was implied since I don’t believe you can get a tattoo if you’re under 18 unless you have parental consent (this may vary by state, I do not know). Which obviously that person wouldn’t have.

Sorry, I guess my assumption that people would use common sense flew right out the window when certain people read my comment.

So it was tacky to get a tattoo of someone who I loved and cared for very much and who I believe has always and will always watched over me in death? That’s a pretty broad brush you’re painting with there, east.

Never heard that…
