<p>What laptop should a student who starts film school soon should get? I heard the universities recommend the Macbook Pro, but which one... going to apple store they tries to lure me into getting their most expensive models so I don't think they could really be trusted.. What do you think?</p>
<p>Any mac is fine. Shouldnt matter anyways, the schools have what you need. </p>

<p>Remember to think “portability” too. I opted for the 13" for this reason. It is really a pain even at the 13" size for travel (bought the iPad for that). That said - we moved all our computers to mac after purchasing just one macbook 5 years ago. ** Go with the largest hardrive possible for the model you choose OR make sure you use a good back up source to move projects to.</p>
