What music do you listen to?

I already posted here but....
I'm getting REALLY into Jamie T
I hated him at first, haha, it took me quite a few listens for me to get into it, but now I sware I cannot stop listening to "Sheila"! (and that was my LEAST fav song to start with). Also liking "So Lonely was the Ballad," "If You Got the Money," "Ike and Tina," and "Pacemakers."
idk. It's very diff. and so it takes a while to get used to it.

I also loooove Tres Bien. They're on that new Next Band show or whatev? Idk, my brother watches it, haha, but they're fantastic. I have no idea how they aren't signed yet. They remind me of the Paddingtons, except a bit more pop.

LOVE classic rock. The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Queen...
And "alternative" classic rock. Genesis, ELP...
But I can't deny the show tunes. RENT, Little Shop of Horrors, Avenue Q, Rocky Horror...

Plus Billy Joel, Chicago, Elton John (...shut up), Frank Zappa, Paul McCartney, Todd Rundgren, Tom Petty, and, I'm a little ashamed to admit it, Evanescence.

I'm so glad to see that other people realize that the best music was made before 1985 :p

"the best music was made before 1985"

The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Blondie, Kate Nash, Lily Allen, Feist, The Go-Gos, The Bangles, KT Tunstall, The Postmarks, The Who, The Shins, Regina Spektor, The White Stripes

Among others.

Poor, silly American.

You-you don't like Blondie? Blasphemer.

I listen to all kinds, mostly independent artists. I hate pop (Britney Spears needs to die) and I am ashamed of rappers.

As of right now, I'm listening to:
The Field - From Here We Go Sublime
M.I.A. - Kala (best album everr!!!)
Jens Lekman - Night Falls Over Kortedala
TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain

haha I'm a lame :)

If you're lame, I am too, because I love those artists.

ahh i love jens

I had no idea lame was a noun.

But, then, how can a piece of metal talk?

...you mean your aluminum foil has never unwrapped itself, gestured towards the turkey sandwich inside of it, and said, "Dinner is served!" ???
