If I put in my money for housing on the day of the open house do you think I will get Santa Lucia?

Possibly, But then again who am I to say.

hey its good to hear all you guys are going to cal poly over all of these other schools, im a first year ME there and am a wow leader for next year, i really reccomend doing it, let me know if you guys have any questions about anything

I got a room at Stenner Glenn since the dorms were full.

I have to ask.
Is Stenner Glenn far from Computer Engineering Building?
And where are the CE Buildings?
Also who else got a room at Stenner Glenn?

if the computer engineering building is the same as computer science building, no its not that far at all. not to sure where the civil engineering building is but most of the engineering buildings are on the side of campus that stenner is on

Computer science building is right across a sidewalk from computer engineering

I know a lot of people who turned down UCLA & CAL for Cal Poly this year.

n

My son chose CalPoly over UCSB, UCSC, UCD, and CSUS. To us, the small, community feel of CalPoly and SLO were big factors. Having personal access to and assistance from the professors will help a lot more with learning and career opportunities than having "UC" on a schedule or diploma - I think.

I turned down (I am a third year student and applied in 2004):

WPI (Worchester Polytechnic Institue)
RIT (Rochester Institue of Technology)
previous 2 are East Coast
UCSB
UCSD
Santa Clara
KU (Kansas University, I am from Kansas)
