AS you can see, my GPA is pretty solid but SAT is weak (i took act, and didn't do much better got like a 23 which relates to about the same).

What colleges would you reccomend me looking at as safe/mid/ and reach schools?

Thank You!

I respectfully suggest that instead of asking others to do college research for you, try looking to see what interests you. To often people on this forum replace College Confidential with doing their own investigation. No one can tell you what schools you should be interested in-that is something only you can do. You can't decide simply based on academics what school you are the right fit for. There are factors like location, size, student body, athletics, programs, housing- these are all issues you need to find for yourself when searching for a college. Asking someone to pick a college for you is like asking a stranger to buy you a car. None of us can possibly give you advice, nor should we. I think you need to take some time and look over the above factors and think about what it is that you want from college. If you have already done this, I applaud you, but from the looks of it, you are cheating yourself out of finding the school that works with YOU!

I have done research, but I find that I keep coming up with schools that are unrealisitc for me. I want to be more open to other schools other people mention thats all.

If you give more some of your interests (i.e. size, location, competitiveness, etc.) maybe I can help.

I do NOT want very small schools. I would be open to medium, large, and veyr large schools. Division 1 sports (good teams/school spirit) would be IDEAL but not necesarry. Location, east cost is preferred but not limited at all..

better? thanks

any state-it sounds like you would be a good candidate for a state school

Hah--i tell you what i want/dont want and u did your job thanks. I'd PREFER not to go to a state school. Sorry..but yeah

Small or large school?

Syracuse, Boston University, Fordham, Rutgers, Penn State, University of Delaware are slight reaches. Then I would find some safeties you would be happy at.

Hah--i tell you what i want/dont want and u did your job thanks

WTH does that mean?

I just meant that i forgot to say i didn't want in-state schools when i was trying to tell you what i like or dislike.

American, Northeastern, SUNY Binghamton, Villanova.

My suggestion is don't study business. A mind is a wonderful thing to waste.

Still, there are so many options, you need to be more specific. Give some examples of schools that interest you. Saying the east coast is way to general.

Maryland, UCONN, Miami, Wisconsin, Delaware, Boston U, Indiana...

I don't know about BU, but I think you could get in to all the others no problem. Although only Maryland, UConn, and Delaware are on the East Coast. The others are midwest-you said you didn't want that.

I thought BU, Maryland, Delaware were all very good schools and somewhat reaches for me.Especially BU and Maryland...and if there slight reaches...do you think i'll get in atleast a few of my slight reaches?

I do-just write some great essays and have a solid teacher rec or two.

umm, Wisconsin would be a huge reach with those SAT scores.

I think that Syracuse would be a good match for you. Northeast, Division 1 Sports, Non-State School, and I think you could get in there.

I love the fact that someone thinks i can get into miami, delaware, BU, maryland. Even if there SLIGHT reaches im happy/suprised. My friends laughed at me when i mentioned applying to BU. There in AP classes, got about a 2200 on the SAT and have a 3.9 gpa and said that what there looking at and its REALLLY REALLY GOOD top 20 school and wouldnt get in..they said it in a nice way but thats what they meant.

hmm lol
