So far, I have a C in honors math and a C in Chemistry honors!
Is it possible to bring them both up to a B or B-?

And how possible is it

So far, I have a C in honors math and a C in Chemistry honors!
Is it possible to bring them both up to a B or B-?

And how possible is it

anything is possible, do what you can.

there aren’t many days of school left, so it depends on how hard you work. gl. :).

You have about a month or so depending on when your school ends. Anything is possible and I think raising both of those C’s to a B- or a B is definitely reasonable, now if you said A’s, that’d be another thing. But definitely ask questions and for help whether it’s in class or after class, ask your friends, and teachers just to show that you really are trying to grasp and understand the concepts. Good luck!

i have about two months left

I think two months should be enough time to get them up to a B. I guess it depends on how much homework and tests your teacher gives you and what percentage they’re worth. But two months definitely gives you more time than I thought you had originally.

i have 2 more tests in math and 4 more quizes
i have one test and one quiz and a few labs left in chem

it might be possible but almost as hard as getting an A from the start

It’s definitely going to be hard just because you want to raise your grade within a set amount of time. But how much are those quizzes and tests worth? Like at my school Assessments/Tests are worth 70% of our grades, while other Work/Learning Activities are worth 30%.

Just really emphasize that you’re trying really hard to raise you grade to at least a B-, and even tell your teachers that when you’re asking for help. I think by doing that and just asking them or your friends questions will really help you understand concepts. Teachers here usually have days where you can ask for help whether it’s during your lunch, after school, or whenever they don’t have a class, etc.

asking for help usually doesnt solve the real problem
its how hard those tests/quizzes are

and tests are worth 65%, quiz 15% hw 15% final 15%

Asking for help allows you to better understand the concept. And if you don’t already understand it, then I’m sure your friends or teacher will teach you other ways that will help you grasp it better. The problems on my pre-calc tests are way difficult compared to the ones we learn and do in class. But our teacher puts them on there just because he thinks once we get the idea, we’ll be able to piece all of this other information, or what we’ve already learned along with it to find a way to solve it and get the answer. If you do a lot of practice problems, that might help too. Like start with the really basic ones, then just work your way up until you can’t anymore, and just ask then what you’re supposed to do.

study harder and earn your grades
