The thing is, I got a D in Pre-Cal this past semester and I feel like if I take that on top of the 3 classes, I will screw up my entire semester.

I don't need the Pre-Cal class because I took the placement test again for math and I scored into Business Calc 1

I don't need the Pre-Cal class either for my major, Econ/Accounting and I TAG'd for UCSB

Should I just forget about the Pre-Cal class and take the 3 classes I need?

If you failed Pre-Calc I don’t think it’ll matter if TAG gets you into Econ at UCSB. Most people who transfer into PRE-Economics fail to transition into the full major.

Business Calc,
2 sciences classes (1 with lab)
and pre-calc

is easier than what you’ll experience after transferring.

If I was you rather than hoping some anonymous poster knows the right answer (and how will you tell right answers from wrong guesses?) I’d ask someone in UCSB admissions. Go to http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/ Click on “virtual transfer appointments”.
