Ok. For this predicament I'm in, I will refer to the colleges as college 1, college 2, and college 3.

Originally I wanted to attend college 1, however I will be transferring from a Community College to a University in the winter semester. At College 1, their admittance for that semester is full, so I will have to wait until the fall of next year.

In the mean time, I have to choose between college 2 and college 3.

College 2 is far away and would require me to go into a dorm (which is something I have been wanting). I wouldn't mind being able to live by myself and establish some sort of independence. I also wouldn't mind having people near by a lot.

However, College 3 has a better known program for the degree I am pursuing. However, it is close enough that I would commute, however I feel like commuting just puts a block on my social life.

College 2's program isn't terrible. However College 3 is about a state rank or two above college 2. So the difference isn't that big.

College 2 is in a city with lots of night life opportunities and other opportunities to meet a bunch of new people.

The reason i've coded the colleges is so I can get the best unbiased advice possible.

So my question now is, price not being a factor, would it be better to go to college 2 or college 3. Should I go for the experience and a slightly lower ranked program, or the higher program and absolutely no experience at all? This has been something that has been bothering me for a while, so any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
