What should I major in?

Say I get accepted into a CSU, with a goal of pursing a doctorate, should I major in Biology or Philosphy/Humanities or Sociology? I have researched that in order to get into med school, one would need a gpa of at least 3.6 + and a high MCAT. And I'm not that good at sciences. What should I do?

Whether it be art history, psych, bio etc., med schools simply do not care what you major in. They care, in large part, about how you do (GPA, MCAT etc.) in your GEs and major reqs. Most kids end up bio majors as you can kill two birds with one stone (satisfy premed reqs/major reqs) at same time whereas with say a psych major you’ll have to work harder to fit in premed reqs in with GEs/major reqs. Choose a major that you find interesting/enjoy as you’re more likely to get better grades if you actually like material. Also you don’t need a doctorate to get into med school. Good luck.
