I'm looking to transfer to Miami next fall ( Junior). Last week they sent my something in the mail with all of my courses that I have taken and how much credit they are giving me for each. Does this mean I was accepted but haven't been notified, or is this just wishful thinking on my part?

yepp pretty much i think, check this out:

Transfer credit evaluations are only conducted after the student has completed an application and been accepted. Only credits from a regionally accredited institution are transferable to the University of Miami. At UM, the transfer of credits is a two-part process:

After the student has been accepted:

Transcripts are reviewed on a course-by-course basis.

The student will receive a detailed transfer credit evaluation with any possible UM course equivalencies.

Is that what you got???

That’s exactly what I got. I called them and they said that it was an accident… I’m not sure if my acceptance just wasn’t entered into the computer yet, or what. I’m optimistic, though. Thanks
