What to bring for overnight stay?

I will be visiting campus next week and will be staying on campus. What should I bring? SHould I bring a small luggage bag with wheels so that I can put my sleeping bag inside? Or is that too "hardcore"? I've never really stayed at anyone else's house... so I'd love to have some advice!

hahaha “hardcore”?? that’s great lol just take a sleeping bag/ pillow and ur usual toiletries…etc.! a small luggage bag would definitely work! I took with a large backpack, but unfortunately it didn’t endure…it was soo embarrassing, it ripped from the top cuz I had stuffed it lol and we had to tape it…it was such a HUGE pain!
So, definitely take something sturdy and easy to carry around! hope u have a great time ;)

The room in which I am currently located has a hammock, but I brought my sleeping bag anyway.
I carried a small bag with toiletries and a few changes of clothing.
(I am up post-mIRLso now, so I am tired).

whenever my friends stay over my dorm, they usually just bring a small duffle bag, like a gym bag. change of clothes, toothbrush, it's not really that big of a deal.

they just sleep in our living room suite, there's a couch and like two big comfy chairs you can push together.

i usually have 1 or 2 extra blankets and they use their coats.
