So I've sent in my deposit. I wanted to speak with a counselor from Fordham about pre-med, the differing campuses. Who should I ask?

Congrats. Welcome to Fordham. I would ping directly the Department in question, be polite and direct with your questions. And Ask to speak also with a current Pre Med Student. Fordham has near 90% admit rate to medical schools for Pre-Med majors. You will be fine.

As for general questions about the campuses ask away here and we will try and help you.

Lincoln Center and Rose Hill are different in so many ways. But they share the Jesuit ethos and ethics. They share some courses. Students do venture from one campus to the other to take a class across town, simply (often enough) for a change of venue. Or a special course or professor they want.

The student body tends to be a bit different because the set up is different and attracts different kids. Lincoln Center is definitely the urban kids. Not to say the Rose Hill kids dont go into the city…because they do…OFTEN.

My kid took courses at Lincoln Center and did great…outstanding profs and good grades. But yes, its a different campus completely.

thanks for the tip!

one more question. did your child do pre-med as well? if so from what year did he/she graduate?

No. Fordham College at Rose Hill. History and Theology. Phi Beta Kappa 2011.
