What to study to become a journalist

<p>Hi, I am new to college confidential. I would one day like to work for a magazin like vanity fair (it's difficult, i know), but I was wondering what you have to study to work for a magazine like that. Some people told be that the best way is to have a bachelor in for example cultural studies and then take a journalism course to finish your master of arts. </p>

<p>Well the standard response is usually to major in journalism, but it’s awfully hard to get a job these days, so I’d suggest a double major, or Masters in journalism, to back yourself up.</p>
