Hey everyone,

I was just wondering what would be most appropriate to wear for the scholarship interview. On the confirmation letter, it says to wear "business" attire for the interview, but later it says to wear "business casual" attire. So what should I wear (as a male)?

How did the interview at the Marshall School of Business go?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

JokeBook - those other threads are not very helpful. Buisinss Attire means shirt, tie, sports coat, or suit. Business Casual means dockers (type) pants, nice shirt. No tennis shoes for Business Casual. Tie is optional, depending upon what you are most comforable in, for Business Casual. Good luck. Maybe you and my son, will end up in some classes together.

If you are a male judging from when I was there, anything less than a full on suit and tie will be underdressed. Im glad I went all out with a suit. For the other day wear whatever you want.

So on day one do you think we should wear jeans/t-shirt or something like tht not business casual? I was thinking that they wanted us to be business casual for the day 1 without the interview then have business attire for day 2 with the interview. Can anyone explain? Thx

day one i wore jeans and a polo. day two suit. I can tell you that day one ranged from a few with full on suits to people on the east coast with tshirts and shorts. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in day one(norm was prob a button down and pants(can be jeans)), just wear your best day two. Remember, no one knows who you are or is evaluating you day one.
