What Universities fit me?

I have a good idea of what schools I plan on applying to, but I’d like other peoples input.
Based on my stats, where do you think is a good match/reach for me?

Since I’m Canadian, our grading system is completely different than that of America, so I am not certain about my GPA, but I’m guessing it is around 3.7-3.8 since all but a couple of my final grades were 90+%. I believe my average (if you include ALL my grade 11/12 courses) was about 93-94%

My highest SAT score was 2200 (broken down it was math:770, crit:730, writing:700) (I received 2060 and 2100 before that)
I have taken 2 SAT2s but I’m still waiting on my Chemistry mark to get back to me. I received 770 for Math 2.

I have taken 4 APs so far
Chemistry (4)
Physics 1 (4)
Biology (4)
Calculus AB (5)

and I am taking 5 more this year
Physics 2
Macroeconomics
Microeconomics
English Literature
Calculus BC

My interim marks (bc we don’t do semesters here) were:

Physics AP 2 : 98
Macro/Micro AP : 100
English Lit AP : 97
Calc BC : 96

My ECs are mainly focused on dance, as I’ve been competitively dancing since I was about 10 at a studio. I’ve won many medals (but they’re fairly generic- they don’t have my name on them). I have been a part of my school’s audition based dance team for 4 years.
I am also the vice president of 2 clubs (Physics and World Vision), the marketing director of G.A.I.N., and a senior member of my school’s Red Cross Club.

I spent my last summer volunteering as a pharmacy assistant (2-3 months) and a children’s science summer camp leader. I also volunteer in my community in senior homes and at events for the young.

Please let me know what you think! Which good schools should I apply for?

What are your preferences regarding location, price range, majors, religion, public vs. private, size, etc.?

^Yes, can you narrow what you are looking for? There are 4,000 to choose from here!

I want somewhere urban in a large city
I plan on majoring in chemistry/bio chem/pharm sciences
I’m not religious
Private school would be best cause I’d definitely need financial aid
And um I prefer somewhere more prestigious and well known!
@MidwestDad3
@awesomepolyglot

New York University
Loyola University
University of Chicago

These would be hard to get into but they fit your preferences

@thatone1 is it really difficult to get into nyu and uchicago? What would you say my chances are?

Loyola is NOT hard to get into at ALL. And they offer a LOT of financial aid. It’s a beautiful campus in a wonderful city, and an all around great school. Definitely look into it.

NYU is easier to get into that UChicago.

@LilRussian would you say my chances of getting into NYU are pretty good??

Also, would you consider Loyola a safety for me?? I looked into it and it doesn’t seem like it matches me very well

NYU costs over $70,000 per year.

@txstella yes but it offers quite a bit of financial aid, if i qualify!

Definitely New York University, University of Chicago, Fordham University, Baruch College, Hunter College, Thomas Jefferson University, & University of the Sciences!

@smileyface74123 thanks! would you say those are matches for me?
