Ds and dh are attending a campus tour and information session in July. This will be ds's first campus tour anywhere. Vanderbilt happened to be on the way to another destination. What can they expect? What is the usual size of these groups and do they tend to be larger or smaller than average in the summer?

TIA!

From when I took S on campus years ago, I believe you have an information session with a counselor first that accommodates everyone who shows up and then afterwards there are tours with student tour guides. D was a tour guide several summers ago and she mentioned that the tours end up at The Commons. I’m remembering that tours were about a dozen or so in a group. If you go during a Pre-VU day, I think there are also student panels to answer questions. I think D participated in some of those as well. Some of the students will be able to confirm or deny this, but I think if you go on Pre-VU days they offer lunch at The Commons at the end of the tour.
