I highly doubt I would ever see that at my school from anyone, plus that would be way too hot.

A normal outfit for me, all year round, involves a T-shirt, with an undershirt, of course, some plaid shorts or khaki shorts and some nice kicks.

The best-dressed college student is one who knows what works well for him/her and wears the outfit comfortably and confidently.

If you have to ask, you almost cannot be well-dressed. There is no concrete solution, or even generic advice, hence the variety everybody is talking about.

Personally, I’d say – be unique. It’s an exciting time where cliques and social groups disappear and everyone likes each other for individual merits. Try something, and if you think it looks good on you, keep it. If not, try something else.

For me, I just have a couple pair of sneakers, a pair of dress shoes, several pairs of slacks (beige, navy, black, and green), and several blank t-shirts of varying colors. I’ll throw on a sweater or long-sleeved dress shirt if appropriate.

PKP’s picture is so my campus. I like the look–college is preparation for a job, so a) why not start building a wardrobe for it now? and b) I know that when I’m a little more dressed up, I feel more prepared to take my “job” seriously. Yeah, there’s the days after an all-nighter or whatever where I’ll wear my hat and Nike shorts, but for the most part, I’d rather look put together.

Don’t look like a tool. Jeans and nice t’s are good. Polos once in a while. Those Perry shoes are tool worthy. This isn’t a yacth club, it’s college. Keep that in mind.

One of my favorite outfits is a pair of loose fitting skinny jeans (so 1 size up on the waist) with a cool button up over a white shirt half buttoned up and tucked in (only with black jeans).

Also have 2 hoodies. A lot of plain black and white t shirts, half American Apperal and half gap, nothing fancy.

1 black levi skinny
1 dark wash blue levi skinny
1 gray levi skinny
1 gray corduroy levi skinny

These aren’t form fitting for me, they fit kinda loose and I have big thigh muscles from extensive cycling. Just buy them a bit bigger and sag them a tiny bit.

I have 2 flannels.

One hoodie is American Apparel and the other is Stussy.

I have a leather jacket and a track jacket.

Got the button ups (about 7 of them) from urban outfitters and nordstrom. Flannels and jeans from Macys and this skate shop. Shirts from AA and gap. Jackets from UO. Shoes from wherever, internet, swap meet, specialty nike stores.

^^Damn cowman you dress almost exactly like I do. The only jeans I ever wear are Levi’s 511 (I’m assuming you’re referring to 511’s) and I am an ex-sprinter so I have relatively big quads. I usually have to go up 2 waist sizes but it’s worth it, they look so good. I also have a pair of Jordan 1s and some beat up Vans. Also got a bunch of AA hoodies in various colors and an assortment of v-neck black/white ts.

My wardrobe is a little preppier though, as I wear Topsiders, cardigans, sweaters, etc.

I like sneakers, but top-siders are comfortable and also look nice. I have nothing against sneakers but i prefer ones that are not over the top which is why i like my classic vans. maybe khakis with pleats make you look old.

sperrys and boat shoes look terrible on a late teenager. you look like youre ready to retire on a boat at age 60 in florida. its preppy gone too far.
