So, I just found out that the school added more prerequisites to the architecture classes. As a rising junior, I can take the two years of reqs but then wouldn't be able to take the architecture class... Guess who now has a free period!

So. I'm thinking an academic, a fun elective, or a study hall.

What would you take if you had an extra free period?

We have 8 periods, and one of them is a mandatory study hall (we can’t opt out of it). So I already get my chance to sleep if I need it, or catch up on some extra work, or whatever. So I’d probably go with an academic class, since I probably won’t know what to do with 2 free periods every day.

Next year as a junior I’ll be in band, Honors US history II, AP art, AP English 11, AP biology, and an AP math (stat or calc bc, do you think?)

I know many superhumans on cc would take another AP but I don’t think I can! I’m definitely thinking a study hall. Does that seem like a strong enough schedule?

I would recommend seeing if your school has a partnership with Virtual High school during my free period I am taking AP psych online ask your guidance councilor and check out govhs.com

Well since you are a junior, colleges want to see that you’re challenging yourself and not slacking. I would definitely take a class, and not do study hall. What type of class is up to you.

I would say do an online AP (that is relatively easy like Econ or psych). Those classes are a joke and I suppose colleges would like it if you’re into that. Those classes really don’t require much time unless you don’t work on it for like 2-3 weeks at a time (like I do lol).

Really? Hmm. Maybe I should look into self-studying. Our school actually offers AP psych, but that would be five APs which I’m not sure I can handle … That’d be AP art, english, bio, calc bc, and psych, and honors US history.

Hmmm. Time to asses: My sanity, or my transcript?
