bring a regular razor or a rechargable one?

Seeing as how I haven't mastered the art of non-electric shaving, I'd bring a battery-powered one. They're a bit quicker too, which could help when you don't have much time to shave.

battery powered definately saves time and is useful when you have cadre screaming at you through the door. however, make sure the battery can last three weeks cuz you won't have many opportunities to charge it out in Jack's

I want to buy my son an electric razor before he leaves for BCT but don't know which one to buy for him. Do you guys have any recommendations?

I have the Braun 7526 model (the one with the base that cleans it). It works really well, the charge lasts for a long time, and you can easily just hook it up to the base to clean/charge it at the same time, or you can just charge it with the cord it you don't need to clean it. It worked just fine for me during BCT.

I just have a norelco one. Really, just the charge is important unless you have really fast-growing and thick hair. Then, both actually might be better.

bring electric to use and normal as back-up in case you're dumb and somehow manage to make all the heads fall out and you can't figure out how to put the million piees together... not that i would be speaking from experience or anything... ... ...

what would you guys do for a klondike barr

I guess electric razors are less of a hassle.

Both...

I like an electric, but my hair grows really fast. The manual worked better...not to mention that my electric got turned on in my duffel (which was in a truck) on the way to jack's. It was nearly dead when I found it :(

guys have it so easy...and i dont believe you eagle...i think you are speaking from experience...

lol... nah, not me!

right...of course not...
