What was your experience of living in triples? How bad is it to live in a triple room?

So I attempted to switch into a triple room with someone in my college because I wanted to live in a residence hall in my first year at UCSD. I didn't tell my parents about asking TMCResidentialLife for switching and now my parents said living in a triple room creates problems because whenever there's an argument one person would be left out.
Now I am unsure if I made the right decision.
I don't really care about spaces.

I thought it was fine living in a triple. I suppose it depends on who you live with but the same could be said for your suite and whatnot. I wouldn’t say you spend sweepingly large amounts of time in your room for the most part anyway.

My sister was in a tiny little Berkeley triple last year and spent the majority of her time playing lacrosse, hanging out with upperclassmen from the business club, and doing who knows what else. It’s what you make of it. If your roomies are awesome, then spend time with them. If they aren’t so cool, just go make friends elsewhere and use your room for sleeping.
