What's a good double major with biology?

Here's the situation. I would love to become a doctor, but if that doesn't work out, i want to have some sort of fall-back career plan. hence, i would like to major in biology, but what is a good major to couple with that, or even a minor i guess, so that i have other options?

My other interests really lie in potentially business or law, but i'm not sure what i should use biology with to be prepared for these.

sorry if the thread is confusing or difficult to answer really, but does anyone have any ideas, or is anyone in a similar boat?

A popular major for pre-meds is Psychology. That or econ would probably be the best double majors/minors to help with business and law.

You have have a Politcal Science major and a Bio minor while you're Pre-med.

Bio major, spanish minor :-D

biology as a fall back plan or because you are interested in the subject? if it's just a fall back plan, then it isnt really a good one. at my school, average starting salaries of bio majors are lower than that of poli sci, history, and by a significant margin, business administration and econ.

study whatever you want. there are more non-major specific jobs than you think.
