Whats better SAT I score of 1750 or ACT score of 26 ?

Which is better and higher ?

It depends on your CR and Math score for SAT.
If your CR + Math is above the range of 1170-1200, then your SAT score is better (higher).

Heres a break down of my scores :slight_smile: Tell me which one is higher :

SAT 1 = 1750

CR = 500
Math = 670
Writing = 580

ACT Composite = 26
English = 26
Math = 30
Reading = 20
Science = 26

I think they are not enough for top universities.

Your act math score converts to around a 680 or 690 on the sat and your reading converts to around a 500. I would try to take the ACT and SAT again and try to see which score for critical reading is higher. Your math score is good but I would try to get your CR score to around 570-600 and your Reading score to around 25-27 if thats possible. If you can improve your reading score I think you’ll be in pretty good shape.

Claddagh I don’t believe that was the question he/she was asking.

You guys all helped out a lot. I am indeed trying hard to improve my CR and reading scores. That is my main weakness because of poor vocab and comprehension skills. i am a great logical thinker and have good math scores :)

truesondaily sometimes I don’t fully comprehend the English language. I don’t know which is higher since I never took the ACT and from americanschools other posts he seems to aim for really good schools.

@Claddagh:

You are correct. My problem is I have amazing application because of my extra curriculars. However, my scores are just not high enough. I am aiming for all ivy league plus a few others, hopefully i will get in. Maye one last ACT and SAT in dec :).
