What's so bad about dressing well in college?

guys don't seem to mind my extra baggage.

more cushion baby!

There's nothing bad about dressing well in college. It just sucks to have to wash your clothes all the time.

"more cushion baby!"

see..told you.

hokegoalie:" 5'10 130?? I thought you were a guy? "

Why in the name of all that is sacred and holy did you think I was a guy?!

Just kidding:)

I learned a long time ago, to always try and pick a nic which is kind of neutral because of how there are weirdos on the web sometimes and stuff.

Not that I think there are any weirdos on this site. I love going on this site because it is nice.

ASL BABY LMAO!!!

actually, i respect your right to impersonate a man

I am not impersonating a man. I just pick nics which aren't Hello Kitty, Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper Cover seeming, Care Bear having, Bonnie Bell lip gloss wearing, Paris Hilton diggin' worthy. Gosh Darnit.

if you dress well, that means you have to get up earlier then when you just pull on sweats. and when you have 8 am classes every day, that sucks.

but hey you will look nicer, so if you want to, go for it.

There's nothing bad about dressing well. It just takes a degree of effort that most don't have after studying/partying/whatever lots. Plus, when you're up early for a class you don't want to be in, you stop caring about what you're putting on (to an extent) reeeeaaallly quickly.

^ what she said. You'd be surprised how much 8am classes change your prospective on life. Toothbrush, t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops will most likely become your new best friends at those god-awful hours of the am.

wrestler, i work in the business world and can wear whatever i want to work.. today i wore blue vans sneakers, cargo pants, and a blue polo. I thought I looked nice. Tomorrow I'm wearing yellow and pink striped shorts, a yellow polo, and sandals. I have a half day and have plans to go golfing and to a park afterwords so I'll def. be wearing my summer/outdoor clothes to work.

It is rare though to find a job that relaxed.

tallkell, 5'4" and 302 lbs is a BMI of 51.8 (25-30 is overweight, 30+ is obese). Even 203 lbs is 34.8 BMI.

MatthewM04: that is a lot, eh? However, everyone is made differently. I do think that someone 5'4" and 302 should go to the Doctor in order to make sure the old ticker is doing alright.

stop making fun of me guys...i try to stop eating...but i love food too much.

Shortfatkell

Wrestler-

I work in a professional (albeit small) office for a fairly significant media/marketing company and I can wear whatever I want to work. Flip flops, jeans, etc. I could probably wear shorts but I'm not a fan of shorts in the office no matter what the dress code is.

Most of the other people in my building have similar attire, and it's a relatively high profile building with high profile companies on the Sunset Strip in LA. It just depends on where you work and what industry you're in. This environment is much more relaxed than a law office or an investment firm, but it's still professional.

It's nice, though. Believe me.

tallkell: I swear that I am not making fun of you at all.

At first I thought you were joshing around, actually. I am stupid that way:(

If you are built where you are just heavy, then be heavy. However, it would not hurt to go to your Doctor to make sure you are alright. If you are in good health, then rock your curves, baby!

In the south, someone with your figure is known as someone who is: "cut thick." And, that is a high compliment- it means that a lady has a great curvy figure!

For example, you know the actor Jamie Foxx? He is a handsome man from Texas, yeah? And he said on Oprah that he likes his ladies "cut thick."

Would I even bother posting this if I was making fun of you?!

LOL.

Merlin- This is totally just a guess, but if she were 5'4, do you think she'd specify her height in her screen name?

I don't think you hurt her feelings. It's ok.

/It's sad that some things get lost in internet translation.

"Shortfatkell"

I think I'm going to go jump off a bridge now.

"I think I'm going to go jump off a bridge now."

LOL. Thats O.K., you'll just bounce a lil.
