It’s either Advanced Topics, which is like super basic level math, a few simple Algebra problem sometimes, or Math for College Readiness. It’s a class you take when you fail the placement exam.

I’m pretty sure there is a class at our school called ‘everyday math’ for people who are really struggling (most likely from rough backgrounds). they do real basic stuff like fractions, decimals, rounding, etc. Don’t get me wrong though, prolly only 8 or 9 kids do this. We have a very strong math dept… i can name more freshman in calc bc or higher than i can of those in everyday math

My school is 7-12 so the lowest is pre-algebra… And about 75% of kids take it in 7th grade

Algebra 1 prep, but most take geometry as freshman, and some even take algebra 2 as a freshman

Contemporary math. It’s kind of like applied math. Such as banking, finding out how much money you make in x hours, and etc.

algebra 1 P1 and Math Lab 12(for those who failed the HSPA)

Something like Intro to Pre-Alg

Pre-algebra, you’re required to finish Alebra 2 by the time you’ve graduated.

Uhm… I think Algebra 1… I think you’re required to be in Trig when you graduate

Algebra 1 is the lowest.
