What's the minimum credits I need to take to maintain my student status at UW?

I’m a CC transfer student who was offered pre-major admission to UW. I plan on reapply to my intended major and some backup majors. It would be cheaper for me to take those prereq classes for backup majors at CC. I wonder what the min credits I need to take for maintaining my student status at UW while taking prereq at CC. Thank you!

@TinyToast I am in the same situation, to save my grade I was thinking of finishing physics series and linear algebra in CC.

actually, I assumed that as taking 5 credits should be fine.
Good Luck!

@aabdin03 thanks for the reply! I have a friend, a former pre-major student (he switched to UWB eventually for direct admission), he skipped a quarter at UW and took classes at CC, then he applied to majors at UW as a returning student.

I’m going to talk to the general admission advisor on Monday. I will post an update after finding out more about it.

Btw, @aabdin03 are you going to reapply again in Spring (maybe)? What majors did you apply to if you don’t mind me asking?

@TinyToast I will be reapplying to Comp Science or Comp Engineering in the Spring. What majors are you applying to?
