I was accepted from stony brook as a transfer student last week but i was wondering by when can meet up with a counselor to go over the classes for the semester do I have make an app. or i would get an email with the information?

Your next step is to pay your deposits and fill out your forms online. Then you’ll get your Orientation date assigned; that’s where you’ll come to campus, get your credit evaluation, and register for classes.

Oh ok thank u so much!

@sbuadmissions until when do I have to give the health form? because I have an appointment with my doctor by May 1st for him to fill the form and i will send the forms right after. And also I was accepted as international student but I had lived in the long island for many years I found a form online(stony brook university) that I could notarized that will allow me to pay the tuition as a resident but my question is if i could send those papers before I choose my classes or should I wait after I register?

That works. Ideally, just get it to us well in advance of your Orientation date.

As far as tuition goes – if you’re an F-1 or J-1 international student, then no, you cannot get in-state tuition. Some of the other visas do have in-state eligibility; contact international admissions directly.
