What's the ONE thing you forgot to bring to college that you really wished you had?

Besides hoes or blow.

Fans.

Without air conditioning, that was a very hot first semester!

lol @ blow but i guess you can get both of those pretty easy around campus amirite?

i am reporting the first post, words like that are uncalled for and offensive

a vaporizer.

citygirlsmom, chill, it's a joke.

Not to mention I wanted to cover those bases so that the thread as a whole could be more productive.

I don't find it funny, imagine someone calling your little sister that....nice mature people I see, as for the cocaine, tell your mom that's is what you want, make her proud

^ I see where you're coming from, and I wouldn't like someone calling my sister that, but I doubt he actually says that to people. This is just an online forum citygirlsmom, so dont take it too personally.

how do you know he's not mocking people that do drugs. calm down.

^Word.

Also, I'm a girl.

And a little sister.

ANYWAY (way to turn this thread into a drug-fest CGM! haha...just kidding) - to bring this topic back to it's functional purpose: If I was actually in college, and forgot my MP3 player...I would die. And then drive back home and get it, because I live 20 minutes away from the school I'm going to in the Fall.

I'm also worried about forgetting my love of learning. That might be harder to find. It disappeared somewhere around the start of senior year...

Pillow.

No, seriously--hey you, stop laughing--I forgot my pillow. Sounds like common sense but in the midst of packing you're bound to forget something simple like that. Luckily Target was close by.

yah cards, i forgot an alarm clock

If you wanted to cover "those bases", don't you think you could have done so a bit more eloquently? I know you could do so. From one of your previous posts:
"Actually, I believe abuse can be a byproduct of culture. In patriarchal societies especially, sexual harassment and abuse of women is more widely accepted. I also think that the fact that "family shame" supercedes reporting abuse is a cultural byproduct and encourages propogation of violence towards women."
Be careful what you ask for and for what you are willing to accept.

Well, the situation warranted a less light-hearted tone.

...and hey. STOP POST-STALKING ME.

Aw :). Sorry, there's something cute about that.

I do what I can. Also, deodorant. I didn't forget it, but one of my roommates did. Well she didn't forget (I'm assuming :/ ) because she went all year without it from what I could tell. 3 people in a cramped triple when one doesn't use deodorant is not a good year.

Whoever said a vaporizer, you are a genius.

yah, especially if you can get a good deal, not as sociable as a bong, but will save you TONS of money in the long run.

A small fridge for drinks. It gets really hot/humid down here, so I ended up buying one from the store about 2 weeks in. Wish I had one from the first day I arrived on campus.

A MICROWAVE!!!!
we didn't do the microfridge rental because one of my roomies brought a fridge. which is nice.
but having a microwave as well would be SO MUCH BETTER!!!

condoms..

KIDDING...... not in college yet
