What's the point of dating in High School?

BTW Dante, as of today I, too, have a girlfriend.

FOREAL?!?!! Awesome! Is this your first or what?

:( :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Well this sucks I was expecting more a of surprise from my friends but everyone was like “finally!” “knew it was going to happen”

:( :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :(

AWWW :frowning: dudeee
I don’t really like her she just really likes me and I haven’t had one in a while so I’m gonna roll with it.

Just curious, how old are you two, Zombie and 609?

I’m in high school and have a girlfriend in high school, but unfortunately she lives 760 miles away haha. But we make it work(:

15, 16 in less than a month.

Zombie- I know how you feel like! I’m in HS too, but I don’t want to date a lot of guys. Like just find the perfect guy & be over with it. (I know that a boring as hell, but I don’t want a new significant other every few months). Besides, sometimes I feel like dating can be such a waste of time and energy. I’m not gonna date guy if i know for a fact we have no chance. And Does anyone else find it hard to be fully 110% committed in a relationship besides myself?

@Eli

You didn’t meet her online, didya? Please no…

@agnijay
I’d say it’s none of your business, but I guess I made it your business haha, plus I’m a pretty nice person. Sorry to disappoint you haha, but I suppose one would say we met online. I call her all the time though, have talked to her friends (my “sexy” voice drives them to steal the phone from her to speak to me… Which is really odd lol) and have seen bunches of pictures of, some with my name on her, and once I joked with her about always wearing a red bra so she changed into a blue one, so I know she’s who she claims to be (so please don’t lecture on that lol). But hey, I love her, I don’t see that it matters where she lives or how we met. Besides, when she gets her license she’s coming her for a few days anyway(:

That’s different. But I’m talking about people who meet someone over Omegle and then complain about how their online boyfriend said xoxoxo instead of xoxoxoxo. You don’t seem to fit that type.

@609 isn’t that kinda a man whore?

@DrBatman About to turn 16 why?

@EliKresses How does that work?

^ We are really good friends, however. I really don’t know where it’s going to lead but whatevs.
LOL Eli that’s actually kind of cute. :S

@agnijay
I’m not nitpicky about what she says haha, no, that kind of stuff doesn’t bother me, we’re very relaxed, there’s no clingy routine that must be followed or anything like that.

@Dante
Umm, it works well, and has for quite awhile(:

Wait 609 are you a girl or boy (don’t feel like going back a page and reading #superlazy)

So I usually don’t come over into this subforum … and I just read this whole thread … and I think I’m not coming back here …

Aww I’m sorry… and to thing this is one of the more sane threads here :P

Boyyyyyyyy

I’m the one who said that, and I’ve been in a relationship for over two years. Obviously my personal reasons aren’t just to reproduce, but that is the reason that human beings have romantic love and desire, so yes, the point of dating is to find a mate, whether you intend for it to be or not.

@609 just making sure…

@BillyMc I totally agree with your statement!
