What's Your Favorite Place to Study?

Where do you get the most studying done?

In the library? In your dorm room? In an empty classroom? Etc?

And why do you think that that place works best for you?

I do it my department building. There is a living room that they have that students can study in and there are always teachers and upperclassman I can stop if I have a question.

In the library. I split my time between two homes and neither one is particularly quiet.

So yeah, library hands down.

In a corner in the library where no one can see me and I feel like Im alone with my thoguhts

My apartment. Because I’m too lazy to go anywhere else.

Library on the second (independent study) floor. Anywhere in/around a familiar environment (my room, residential college, etc.) doesn’t lend itself well to studying.

Library, fourth floor. It’s one of the two quiet floors.

Usually in the den in my dorm, I also do plenty in the dorm’s computer lab since I need a computer program for one class and they have it.

Other places I’ll study are the libraries (if the den is too loud and I need to do things), outside, and my room. I don’t get much done in my room though.

^^^^ I also like finding the deserted corner of the library.

I generally spend my time studying in the library.

A nice corner of a slightly busy cafe where I can stay for hours with one latte.
The library atmosphere can be oppressive, and my room is too cozy.

Either the 4th floor of the library, because there’s no talking allowed, or the arts building (I’m a music major, so that place is like my second home). I study better when I’m not in my dorm, because I usually fall asleep on my bed when I do that.

in my room

in the 2nd or 3rd floor of the library or in the lounge area of the MU at my college.

I have just recently discovered a new place to study that is truly the best on campus.

It’s on the 13th floor of a sciences building. You have to take the elevator to the 12th floor and then take a secret staircase to the 13th floor (which is decorated with pictures from the school’s history), which gives you a quiet study lounge and never-used conference room, along with one of the best views in my entire college town.

I’m really happy I found it.

Lotta times I just study in my room though.

My dining room table. I song fall asleep there like i do studying in my bedroom and I commute so I’m not taking extra trips to campus just to go to the library and deal with crappy parking.

in my dorm room, though it’s not the best place to study, but it usually takes a lot of time to find a spot in the library as it’s always packed.

Pretty much always in my room. I have gone in the library to study before, but I really like to be somewhere I feel comfortable. Of course, as others mentioned, that can lead to being distracted more easily.

My family’s study room (a room full of books located in my room) and an empty classroom at school I suppose. I also commute, so my study room’s the most convenient, but when I need to get out of the house or have a specific assignment that requires certain materials and space I use the studios at my school. My study room has been turned into more of a studio than a study space (the desk is covered with newspaper and paint lies everywhere haha).
