What's your safety school?

Probably UIUC and Mich. Regional state schools with relatively strong science departments.

Michigan, Vermont, Bowdoin

Howard, UC Riverside, American U

Temple & West Chester

You are correct, I do not know about their essays. However, my ECs are on the same level or above theirs. I would consider them Low Match and not safeties. My safeties will most likely be Drexel and UDel Honors. Again my counselor has said as such, so I am not solely basing it on the stats.

Safeties in order from favorite to least:
U of Washington, James Madison U, U of Alaska, and USouth Carolina

Sent from my ADR6400L using CC

UT Austin… maybe even SMU and U of Washington

Saint Joseph’s University, CUNY Baruch, St. John’s University, and SUNY New Paltz
Oh and University of San Francisco

If you are not accepted at any of your reach and match schools then maybe you ARE mediocre.

@tomofboston narcissistic people can be mediocre. Nothing groundbreaking there…

University of North Texas. Although I know I can get in and get a National Merit scholarship, I’m seriously considering it alongside higher-ranked schools.

UC riverside

Mine is my state flagship (penn state university park)

Suny Buffalo. And I’m probs applying to Canisus

Georgia State. I don’t think of UGA as a safety for me (my GPA sucks) but someone from the admissions office told me I’d be in without a problem, so I guess UGA too, ahah. Oglethorpe University, too – though I’m not sure they’d give me enough aid… I’ll apply though, I can get in and they’re giving me a free application.

NYU, because I live in NYC and my parents can afford it…

UCSB, UMich (in-state), Georgia Tech

I’ve decided to move Quinnipiac from a match to a safety school. Yessss.

Sorry - off topic - but there seems to be no way for me to start a new thread.

Why do people say that Perkins Loans are better than Subsidized Stafford Loans, when the former have a 5% interest rate, and the latter is only 3.4%? Thanks!

^Look at the top left of the list of threads. There is a button. And try posting in the financial aid forum. This forum is for high school students.

Anyway, mine are U Pitt, U Miami, and BU. I might throw in UCSB or something as well but idk.
