When Applying for colleges...

Do honors classes and AP's count if they are in your senior year when your are applying with the Common Application?

also..

do people lie about ec's when applying or lie about anything in general when applying?

People lie? Probably. Don’t do it, though.

Honors and APs count insofar as colleges like to see that you have maintained a rigorous schedule through your senior year. It of course will not contribute to your GPA as calculated by the college.

Yes in that they want to see you continue with or increase the rigor of your schedule. Of course, you might also be going for credit, in which case you should still try to ace your AP exams

On the application itself, the common application, can you state your classes that your are taking currently? Im a junior and im taking ap classes next year and im just wondering if it counts as an honor class and if you can include it in?

do the colleges see and consider the rigor and number of classes you take senior year?

Yeah they do see and consider rigor of your senior year, and people do lie/exaggerate about their ECs all the time. I wouldn’t recommend it, though…
