I hope that decisions come out as soon as possible...but I think princeton would have told us when decisions will be sent out by now if they wanted to. We are all anxious and stressed but i think that trying to find the date isnt going to help us, its just going to create a vicious cycle of checking on cc and wondering and rationalizing and stressing. I wish all of you the best of luck, and hope that decisions come earlier than we expect. But, I think we should all remember that sometimes good things are worth waiting for.

grkscientist, did you go ED to Princeton?

yes i did.. i haven't posted for over a year and i just remembered my password which is the reason i came on. I do apologize for being a lurker all this time...im applying as an engineer if anyone is wondering.

hmm... after checking my horoscope (I fear I'm making myself too nervous), I hope they'll be mailed-out/received sometime next week instead.

lol !

Thank god I'm not the only one who was been checking their horoscope for Early Decision, lol

Wow. I didn't know that people still checked their horoscopes. What does your horoscope say?

That's the thing! It says nothing!
Next week my horoscope basically says, "get stuff done, be happy, relationships flourish!!!!"

Oh wait, that's what my horoscope says every week. Haha. Every once in a while it's on the money, but usually it's pretty generic. I'll keep you posted if there are any changes in the stars, haha. (Yes, this is pathetic.)

i decided to check mine for kicks after reading your posts...mine told me i will want to get laid the fifteenth- lmao

In general tho, horoscopes are so unclcear that they could truly point to anything based upon what going on in your life.

i just checked mine, too. it's actually kind of appropriate. b/c i'm bored and in case any of you are leos, too, here's the whole thing for next week:

Monday and Tuesday have a reflective quality. You find yourself reassessing certain strategies and reconsidering goals. A couple of sacred cows may become slightly less sacred (and this is helpful and healthy). Plus, money is on your mind. Are you using your resources to their maximum potential? Wednesday through Friday, maximizing potential remains a priority, but it takes on a social dimension. It's apparent to you that your friends are brilliant, and their adoration of you speaks volumes. You spend the end of the week and the entire weekend wondering how all of you can harness your collective genius.

pretty sweet, no?

Hmm...they seem to have taken the "Check status of your application" thing on the Princeton website...I wonder what this means.

huh? I just looked and it was still there, and I tried it and it worked.

It worked for me...

Quick question: if Princeton isn't going to announce their decision online on December XX, then why did they say on the application:

"...at the end of the process, you will have the option to check your decision online."

Maybe you can check after you get the decision in the mail, or changed policy?

It just came back for me...it wasnt there for a couple of minutes though, I'm positive.

okay after a 15 page thread, we still don't have a conclusive answer as to when we're getting decisions. if they mail friday, we would get the envelope saturday, no? i live in nj btw if that makes a difference.

Weeeeiiiirddd....something's going on in the Admissions Office!!

Edit: that was in response to BD89

pshh, Tarot is where its at, not horoscopes.

Yup, it definitely wasnt there when I checked some minutes ago...and links dont spontaneously disappear from a website...hmm, strange.

It only appears if you follow the right path to the site:

No: http://www.princeton.edu/main/prospective/ugadmission/

Yes:http://www.princeton.edu/main/admission-aid/undergraduate/

aha! very astute, arbiter :)
