When are ED decisions sent out?

i love despair.com!! haha i like the procrastination one. that is me!

by the way... if we still go by dec 15 at 5pm.... we are almost into the single digits of counting down!! (in ~17 hours there will be under 10 days left)

hmmm, anybody called up pton office yet?

The more of this thread I read, the more disheartened I get. Ignorance is bliss.

ok, then these are the questions we might want to ask:

Will we get decisions online?

WHEN are you sending out the decision letters?

Will you be sending the letters by Fedex priority???

haha i want DETAILS

Are there seperate days for citizens and internationals?

Why wait for someone else? If you really want to know then just call yourself!

okayyy... so i e-mailed Princeton and this is what i got.
1.They will not be revealing decisions online or via e-mail
2.All decisions will be mailed through regular mail
3.If you do not receive your decision by the end of the third week of december, you can get your decision over the phone

ya, im not that curious. but if u keep asking others to call for you, y not call urself?(unless ur location gives insanely little time to do so)

that sucks, that sucks, that sucks!! I'm still gonna try to get my decision on december 13 over the phone, no matter what

qwerty, do you mind posting the text of the email? Also, what does the third week of dec mean? Do you count the 1st and the 2nd, as their own week, or do you start from the 4th? In which case we'd only be allowed to call after the 22nd...

Grr...this is annoying.

end of third week!!! aaaargh this is annoying...

getting the results by dec 15 is our birth right. and we shall not have anyone deny it.

Yes but that doesn't answer the date question... I'll ask in person on thursday or sunday, as I'll be on the princeton campus for a conference this weekend.

I just called, and they said that they have no timetable at the moment for when they will be mailed. But they definitely will not be online at all, only through regular mail.

I guess we should call again next week, maybe they'll know then.

my friend who's in princeton now was having lunch with the dean of admissions, and apparently they're doing ED on the 7th this year...i'm not sure if that means they finalize decisions by then or if that's when they start mailing...

i hope it's mailing :D knowing around dec 7th would be great

I cannot think of anything better than a December 7th mailing date...it seems more ivy-league style, considering UPenn and Columbia are publishing this week.

Is there any way we can confirm this?

i though penn was dec 14th?

getting our results during the 3rd week of dec. is absolutely ridiculous...do they realize that RD apps are due Jan. 1st. ugh

"my friend who's in princeton now was having lunch with the dean of admissions, and apparently they're doing ED on the 7th this year...i'm not sure if that means they finalize decisions by then or if that's when they start mailing..."

Does anyone know anything about this?

Hmm, hard to say. If that's true, maybe they'll be able to hand me my decision in person when I'm there... :p

Daisydukes--- sorry, you're right. UPenn is only publishing certain programs this week. I have a friend doing the Wharton/Nursing school and I believe he said that they notify this week. That's one of those 15 person programs.
