when did transfers/second bachelor seekers hear back ?

im seeking a second bachelors degree. my first is from uf.. im now applying for chemistry. im pretty sure im in the same applicant pool as transfers. any of you hear back yet ? i just recently applied. all my stuff should be in though. i also applied to fsu so ill see where i get in and choose then. if i fail in both for some reason ill go to fiu for a coupla years. i would go back to uf but they say "no second bachelors!" ive been accepted to fiu and um, but i dont know why i applied to um because its too expensive anyway. ucf and fsu apps were in late, fsu maybe a week ago.

if i am accepted and able to choose between ucf and fsu, i think i would like north florida better as a place to live, and fsu may have a better chemistry department(i have to look into that, visit both), but i have a lot of good friends in orlando, and thatd be a great experience. also i know ucf is a great up and coming school, and is very reputable already and only getting better. ill have to visit both and choose. right now it would be pretty 50/50, and well im not in to either yet.

anyway, anyone else in a similar boat waiting ?

I just applied to UCF where UF rejected my application for admission due to me already have a bachelor’s degree from a different school. I see you have the same problem where you graduated from the same school. I just hope that I can get into UCF where USF is my backup. It seems hard to get into any school if you have a bachelor’s degree. I have a bachelor’d degree in Mgmt and now want to go for a finance degree.

Any recommendations for me on schools to apply that accept people with a bachelor’s degree?

@bigballs, i received back from UCF which was very fast and only took them about a 1-2 weeks. They came back with the excuse as follow below. As for us with a Bachelor’s Degree, it will be hard to get in due to they focus more on first time students and out of high school. Our chances are better with private schools or schools will lower attendance.

“Thank you for your interest in the University of Central Florida. Your application for admission has been carefully reviewed. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you admission due to the academic strength of this year’s applicant pool.”
